Founded in 2004, the Minor League Football Hall of Fame Award is the highest honor presented by Minor League and Adult Amateur Football. Nominees must be individuals of outstanding quality, high moral sportsmanship, outstanding leadership attributes and must be held in the highest regard by their fellow athletes, coaches and supporters of Minor League and Adult Amateur Football.
Nominations may be submitted by teams and leagues from around the country, or by by any individual who may attest to the qualities of the Nominee, to Minor League Football's Hall of Fame Selection Committee. Hall of Fame Categories are:
1. Athletes; 2. Coaches; 3. Executives; 4. Supporters; 5. Fallen Heroes; 6. Honorary Hall of Fame Awards for Individuals or Teams; 7. or for Meritorious Service to Minor League and Adult Amateur Football
Minor League Football Hall of Fame Induction Banquet and Annual Awards Ceremony
Each December Minor League and Adult Amateur Football comes together to celebrate the Induction of new Hall of Fame Members and award outstanding athletes, coaches, teams and supporters for their contribution to our great sport. This year the event will be held from December 3-5, 2009 at Las Vegas, Nevada and hosted by the Riviera Hotel and Casino. A schedule of events follows:
Thursday, December 3, 2009 - Hall of Fame Alumni Social Mixer - Hall of Fame Inductees from all prior years will meet the new class of Inductees in a social hour to be remembered for all time. New members will be presented with their Hall of Fame Blue Blazer.
Friday, December 4th, 2009 - Morning - The First Annual Hall of Fame Celebrity and Charity Golf Tournament; Afternoon; The second annual Hall of Fame Exposition and Coaches and Executive Clinics featuring vendors displaying products and services of particular interest to athletes, coaches and executives in the Minor League and Adult Amateur Football Community. Also, the Coaches and Executive Clinics featuring guest speakers from every level of football from high school and college up to the professional and Minor League and Amateur rankings will present thier coaching and management best practices; Evening - The Hall of Fame Induction and Annual Awards Ceremony
Saturday, December 5th, 2009 - All Day - A full schedule of three competitive games featuring the Hall of Fame Holiday Bowl and two international game events pitting Team Canada versus the Farnham Knights from Great Britain and our own USA Eagles Football Club versus the Coventry Jets also from Great Britain. |
